Labour Ministry with TCS iON offers free online skill training through NCS portal
The Union Ministry of Labour and Employment partnered with TCS iON and offers free online career
skills training through the National Career Service (NCS) project to enhance the corporate etiquette, interpersonal skills, presentation skills and other softs skills of the job-seekers. NCS partnered with HireMee (online assessment and hiring service provider) to offer creation of video profiles for job-seekers.
Ministry of Jal Shakti sanctions Rs. 445 crores for implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in Chhattisgarh during 2020-21
Ministry of Jal Shakti has approved an amount of Rs. 445 crores for the implementation of the Jal Jeevan
Mission (JJM) in Chhattisgarh during 2020-21. Under this mission, Chhattisgarh state has planned 100 % Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC) by 2023-24.
23 additional Minor Forest produce items in Minimum Support Price List announced: M/O of Tribal affairs
Ministry of Tribal Affairs has notified an Inclusion of 23 additional Minor Forest Produce (MFP) items and stipulation of their Minimum Support Price (MSP) under the Central government-sponsored Scheme (2011) titled “Mechanism for Marketing of MFP through MSP and development of value chain of MFP”.
The previous notification was issued on May 1, 2020, in which the MSP revisions for the existing 49 MFPs were announced. The increase across various items of MFP ranged from 16% to 66%.

PM Narendra Modi has announced the “My Life, My Yoga” (Jeevan Yoga) Video Blogging Contest, as one of the activities related to the observation of the 6th International Day of Yoga on June 21st, 2020. The contest being organized by the Ministry of AYUSH and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
The objective of the contest is to focus on the transformative impact of Yoga on the lives of individuals.

Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology (IT), Ravi Shankar Prasad launched India’s National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Portal & National Program for the youth named “Responsible AI for
Youth” during the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the second tenure of the government. The portal was
developed jointly by the National e-Governance Division of Ministry of Electronics and IT and NASSCOM
from the IT industry.

adoption of innovative farming methods based on ecological principles during a virtual high-level round-table on ‘Agroecology and Regenerative Agriculture’. Amitabh Kant is the CEO of NITI Aayog.
